ফিরলো ২০১৬ সালের স্মৃতি । রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্কের তরফে জানানো ২০০০ টাকা নোট বাতিলের কথা । ২০১৬ সালের ৮ ই নভেম্বর প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী ৫০০ টাকা এবং ১০০০ টাকা নোট বাতিলের কথা ঘোষণা করেছিলেন । তারপরই সাধারন মানুষক হয়রানির স্বীকার হতে হয় । ব্যাঙ্কের লম্বা লাইনে দাড়িয়ে নোট বদল করতে গিয়ে অনেকেই অসুস্থ হন । এমনকি মৃত্যুর ঘটনাও ঘটে । পুনরায় সেই নোট বন্দির পথে হাঁটছে দেশ । তবে এবার ২০০০ টাকা নোট বাতিলের কথা বলা হয়েছে ।

জল্পনা বেশ কিছুদিন ধরেই ছিল । অবশেষে তা সত্য হল । রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্ক বাতিল করলো ২০০০ টাকার নোট । কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাঙ্কের তরফে জানিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে নতুন করে আর ২০০০ টাকার নোট ছাপানো হবে না। সাধারন মানুষ আগামী ৩০ শে সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত ব্যাঙ্কে গিয়ে নোট বদল করতে পারবেন ।
কোথা থেকে নোট বদল করতে পারবেন ?
এই নোট বদল করা যাবে রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্কের ১৯ টি আঞ্চলিক অফিস ছাড়াও সমস্ত সরকারি ও বেসরকারি ব্যাঙ্ক থেকে । এমনক যেখানে ব্যাঙ্ক নেই সেখানে বিজনেস কোরেসপণ্ডেটদের দ্বারা নোট বদল করা যাবে ।
ব্যাঙ্কে আকাউন্ট না থাকলে নোট বদল করা যাবে ?
রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্কের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে ব্যাঙ্কে আকাউন্ট থাকুক বা না থাকুক সকলকেই এই পরিষেবা দিতে হবে । যদি কারো ব্যাঙ্কে আকাউন্ট না থাকে সেক্ষেত্রে ব্যাংক তাকে পরিষেবা দিতে অস্বীকার করতে পারবে না ।
কোন এলাকায় ব্যাংক না থাকলে কোথায় নোট বদল করা যাবে ?
রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্কের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে যদি কোন এলাকায় ব্যাঙ্ক না থাকে সেক্ষেত্রে বিজনেস কোরেসপণ্ডেটদের দ্বারা নোট বদল করা যাবে ।
দৈনিক কত টাকা বদল করা যাবে ?
কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাঙ্কগুলির তরফে জানিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে দৈনিক ২০ হাজার টাকা বদল করতে পারবেন । এবং যেখানে ব্যাঙ্ক নেই সেখানে বিজনেস কোরেসপণ্ডেটদের দ্বারা সর্বাধিক দৈনিক ৪ হাজার টাকা বদলাতে পারবেন ।
নোট বদলের সময় কি কি তথ্য দিতে হবে ?
রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্কের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে ২০০০ টাকা নোট বদল করার কেঅয়াইসি বাধ্যতামূলক । অর্থাৎ নোট বদল করার সময় আধার কার্ড ও অন্যান্য তথ্য অবশ্যই জমা দিতে হবে ।
নোট বদল করার জন্য কোন ফি লাগবে কি ?
কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাঙ্কের স্পষ্ট নির্দেশ নোট বদল করার সময় কোনরকম চার্জ বা ফি লাগবে না । এছাড়াও বলা হয়েছে সিনিয়র সিটিজেন তথা বয়স্ক মানুষদের যাতে নোট বদল করার ক্ষেত্রে কোন সমস্যা না হয় সেটি ব্যাঙ্ককে দেখতে হবে ।
কবে থেকে নোট বদলানো যাবে ?
আগামী ২৩ শে মে থেকে নোট বদল করা যাবে । তার আগে তিনদিন ব্যাঙ্ককে সময় দেওয়া হয়েছে নোট বদল করার জন্য যাবতীয় প্রস্তুতি নেওয়ার । আগামী ৩০ শে সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত এই নোট বদল করা যাবে ।তারপর আর বদল করা যাবে না ।
