রাজ্যবাসীর জন্য সুখবর । মমতা ব্যানার্জীর সরকার বিদ্যুতের বিল কমানোর জন্য একটি দারুন পদক্ষেপ নিতে চলেছে । বর্তমানে সাধারন মানুষের কাছে বিদ্যুতের বিল একটি বিভীষিকা । এমতাবস্তায় সাধারন মানুষ সবসময়ই পথ খোঁজে কিভাবে বিদ্যুতের বিলের বোঝা একটু কমানো যায় ।

আর এবার রাজ্য সরকার একটি পদক্ষেপ নিতে চলেছ যার ফলে বিদ্যুতের বিল অনেকটাই কমে যাবে বলে আশা করা যাচ্ছে । বর্তমানে প্রতি তিনমাস অন্তর বিদ্যুৎ বিলের অফিস থেকে কর্মচারী এসে রিডিং নিয়ে যায় । আর সেই অনুসারে বিদ্যুতের বিল ধার্য করা হয় ।
কিন্তু গতমাসে রাজ্যের বিদ্যুৎ মন্ত্রী অরুপ বিশ্বাস একটি সুখবর দিয়েছেন । তিনি জানিয়েছে রাজ্যের প্রায় ৩৭ লক্ষ ঘরে এবার স্মার্ট মিটার বসতে চলেছে । স্মার্ট মিটার বসানোর কাজটি ধাপে ধাপে সম্পন্ন করা হবে বলে তিনি জানিয়েছেন ।

বিধানসভায় বিদ্যুৎমন্ত্রী জানিয়েছেন বর্তমানে বিদ্যুৎ বণ্টন পর্ষদের ২ কোটি ২০ লক্ষ গ্রাহক রয়েছেন । যার শুধুমাত্র CESC এর গ্রাহক সংখ্যায় প্রায় ৩৩ লক্ষ । এর সাথে মন্ত্রী অরুপ বিশ্বাস এও জানিয়েছেন বাম সরাকারের আমলে প্রচুর লোডশেডিং হত । কিন্তু বর্তমানে সেই সমস্যা নেই ।
বিধাসভায় অরুপ বিশ্বাস জানিয়েছেন রাজ্যের বিদ্যুৎ ব্যবস্থাকে ঢেলে সাজানো হচ্ছে । RDSS প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে প্রায় ১১.৮৯৫ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করা হবে ।এই টাকার ৬০% দেবে কেন্দ্র এবং ৪০% খরচ করবে রাজ্য । এবং এই প্রকল্পের আওতায় লাগানো হবে ৩৭ লক্ষ স্মার্ট মিটার ।
বাড়িতে স্মার্ট মিটার লাগলে কি কি সুবিধা হতে পারে ?
মন্ত্রী অরুপ বিশ্বাস জানিয়েছেন ৩৭ লক্ষ স্মার্ট মিটারের সাথে সাথে ৮৭ টি সাবস্টেশন বানানো হবে । এই স্মার্ট মিটার লাগানোর ফলে বিদ্যুৎ বণ্টন ব্যবস্থায় আমুল পরিবর্তন আসবে । সবথেকে ঝামেলার কাজ হল বাড়ি বাড়ি গিয়ে রিডিং নেওয়া এবং সেই মোতাবেক বিল বানানো ।
কিন্তু স্মার্ট মিটার লাগলে সেই সমস্যা থেকে মুক্তি পাওয়া যাবে । বিদ্যুৎ অফিসের কর্মচারীরা অফিসে বসেই সকল গ্রাহকের মিটারের রিডিং দেখতে পাবেন । সাথে সাথে অফিসে বসেই বিল তৈরি করা যাবে । এর ফলে কাজ সহজতর ও দ্রুত করা সম্ভব হবে ।

এই স্মার্ট মিটারের ফলে গ্রাহকদেরও সুবিধা হবে । উন্নত পরিষেবা পাবেন । সাথে সাথে প্রিপেইড মাধ্যমে যেভাবে মোবাইলের রিচার্জ করেন সেভাবে বিদ্যুতের জন্য আগাম রিচার্জ করা যাবে । গ্রাহকদের যখন প্রয়োজন নেই তখন তারা রিচার্জ করবেন না ।অর্থাৎ তথন তাকে বিদ্যুতের বিল দিতে হবে না ।
স্মার্ট মিটারের সাহায্যে প্রতি মাসে বিল হবে ।ফলে তিনমাস পর পর বিল আসার জন্য ইউনিট পিছু যে বেশি টাকা দিতে হত । সেই টাকাও দিতে হবে না গ্রাহককে । এরফলে বিদ্যুতের বিল অনেকটাই কমে যাবে ।

এর বাইরে স্মার্ট মিটার লাগানোর ফলে বিদ্যুত চুরি , মিটারে কারচুপির করা বন্ধ হবে । ইতিমধ্যেই উত্তরপ্রদেশে এই স্মার্ট মিটার লাগানো হয়েছে । এবার বাংলার সাধারন মানুষেরাও এবার এই উন্নত পরিষেবার স্বাদ গ্রহন করতে পারবেন ।
